About the role
We have a permanent full-time position available for a motivated person with proven expertise in providing sound procurement guidance in the areas of purchasing, tendering, contract administration and supplier communications.
Working in a small, dedicated team you will have responsibility for end-to-end Tender oversight and activities including preparing tender documentation, record keeping, managing tender submissions, coordinating the evaluation of tenders, and maintaining the City's Statutory Tenders Register and Tenders website.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
Providing professional advice on procurement and contracting matters
Working with the team on procurement processes to help the City obtain best value for money outcomes while meeting the requirements of the Local Government Act and other relevant legislation
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
Procurement experience in a public sector or large multidisciplinary organisation
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Tertiary degree in a relevant area such as Commerce, Business or Law or equivalent experience
A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.

The salaryfor this position will be from $84,****** to $100,****** per annum depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
