Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experiencedMechanical Fitter / Fitter & Machinistto join our Wangara workshop.
What You'll Be Doing
Overhaul pumps, mechanical seals, valves, gearboxes and associated equipment
Strip, inspect, measure and assess rotating equipment components
Assemble pumps, mechanical seals, valves, gearboxes and associated equipment
Perform precision measurements, understand fits and tolerances and laser alignment
Read engineering drawings and follow OEM specifications
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
About You
You'll be a trade-qualifiedMechanical Fitter or Fitter & Machinistwith:
Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience
Experience with pumps or other rotating equipment




Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
Ability to read technical drawings
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Current Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence (desirable)
Mechanical seal experience, machining, welding and laser alignment skills will be highly regarded but are not essential.
