The practice values professionalism, respect, and clear communication, and aims to create a supportive setting for both patients and staff.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based at Hargreaves Street Medical Practice in Bendigo, VIC.
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including triage, health assessments, wound care, immunisations, and chronic disease management support under practice protocols and in collaboration with general practitioners.
Daily responsibilities include preparing and managing treatment rooms, coordinating recalls and follow-ups, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and supporting patient education on health conditions and treatment plans.
The role also involves assisting with care plans, contributing to quality improvement activities,



following infection prevention and control procedures, and working closely with the broader practice team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.QualificationsCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience in general practice, primary care, or acute clinical settings.Strong clinical assessment, triage, and wound care skills, including immunisation and chronic disease management.Proficiency in electronic medical records, documentation, and basic computer skills.Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.Sound understanding of infection prevention and control, medication safety, and clinical best practices.Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and work independently within a multidisciplinary team.Relevant post-graduate training or certificates (e.g., immunisation, chronic disease, practice nursing) are an advantage.Current Working with Children Check and police clearance, or ability to obtain.Salary ***********
