To further accelerate our growth in line with the global business strategy, we have a full-time opportunity for a passionate and self-motivatedPayroll and Finance Officerto be based in ourAdelaide.The Payroll and Finance officer is a hybrid role primarily focused on Payroll, with support and functionality into the accounting team.
Responsible for calculating and processing the fortnightly payroll activities for all employees (primary function), monthly payroll for Inbound Assignees, payroll system maintenance, carrying out third party obligations relating to this role and general support for Human Resources and Finance.

About you:
You will ideally have:
Minimum of 5 years end-to-end payroll experience.
An excellent understanding of relevant legislation (eg. Industrial Relations, WorkCover, payroll tax, PAYG) and payroll practices across all Australian jurisdictions as well as payroll auditable requirements.
Access Micropay knowledge (desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end processing of the fortnightly payroll, including preparation of EFT.
Supporting with query investigation and resolution to ensure employees and key stakeholders receive high quality and responsive services.
Payments and general ledger postings.
Monthly payroll process for Inbound Assignees, including administration and payroll tax obligations.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise payroll processes.
Accurate End of Month and End of Financial Year reconciliation and obligations, including internal processes.
Regular updates and maintenance of Micropay, ESS and payroll related data.
Calculate and remit superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG, WorkCover, child support and submission of all compliance paperwork to the relevant bodies.
Maintain legislative systems (Payroll Tax, Superannuation and PAYG)



and service providers that may change from time to time, working to deliver services in alignment with KPI's.
Compliance and internal reporting, upon request and planned.
Preparation and processing of payroll, leave and human resource information through interpretation, data input, checking, quality control.
Supporting internal rem & benefits processes and projects, including but not limited to compensation reviews, remuneration structures and Employee benefits & engagement portfolio.
Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Superannuation, wages clearing, leave liabilities and others where relevant.
Supporting BAS calculations and lodging.
Reporting to head office of business activities.
Supporting with FBT calculations yearly and management of the process.
Involvement and ownership of special projects relating to HR and Finance.
Supporting the annual external audit & year end closing process.
