Plants Direct Queensland is based on the Sunshine Coast near Eumundi and is one of Qld's leading production nurseries, covering 40 acres and producing tubestock through to advanced trees for both the retail garden and landscape industries.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Nursery Sales Assistant
Duties:
Working as part of a team in a busy office environment to ensure effective communication between our clients, production, dispatch and admin teams
· Engaging with our established clientele, providing support to our horticultural sales team, assisting with photographing, sourcing, quoting, invoicing and dispatching plant orders
Assisting our horticulture sales team in estimating and quoting on planting schedules for large commercial landscape projects
Supporting our sales team in prospecting and developing new clients
Skills:
Genuine enthusiasm for horticulture, plants and the landscape industry
Exceptional customer service and organisation skills
Excellent computer and telephone skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook and Excel
High attention to detail, displaying enthusiasm and initiative
Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team
Previous nursery, horticultural, landscaping, landscape estimation experience and qualifications are advantageous
The position is casual - Mon-Friup to38 hrs per week
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about retail sales and horticulture and enjoys working as part of a team in a busy office.
