An opportunity exists for a motivated person to work within the Operating Theatre and Hospital Department Units as an Operating Theatre Assistant/Wardsperson.
The role involves transporting & positioning patients, and equipment within the Perioperative complex and Hospital wide.
You will also be expected to decontaminate clinical and non-clinical equipment and environments.
The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training in manual handling techniques and infection control standards related to this position.
Essential Criteria
Current Working with Children check/Police Check




Flexibility to work day, afternoon, and possibly weekend shifts isessential.
Competent keyboard skills and MS office proficiency
Exceptional collaborative customer service skills and well-developed verbal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient centred care
Desirable Criteria:
Healthcare experience in a hospital workplace
Vaccination Category - Clinical Category A
