About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, positive, and team‐focused individual to join our practice.
Two opportunities are available:
Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant (Casual)— 2–3 days per week, commencing August ****.
Ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role supporting both front desk and clinical operations.
Renumeration: $36 - $40 per hour.
Full‐Time Experienced Dental Assistant (Temporary Maternity Leave Contract)to replace one of our lovely Dental Assistants while she is away on maternity leave — commencing September ****.




Suited to an experienced assistant who can step confidently into a busy clinical workplace and provide reliable support throughout the maternity leave period.
Renumeration: $30 - $36 per hour.
About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Excellent punctuality and reliability
Ability to assist chairside highly regarded but not essential (for the casual position)
Professional presentation and conduct
A strong work ethic and high motivation
Effective time‐management skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A consistently positive attitude and professional demeanour
Flexible availability between Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm (preferred, but specific days may be negotiated for the right candidate)
A friendly and confident telephone manner
Competence with computers and practice software
The ability to build rapport with patients and their families
Experience in healthcare or customer service (highly regarded)
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in healthcare or customer service is required
Knowledge of D4W software (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming patients to the practice
Reception and administrative duties
Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort
Infection control, sterilisation, and waste management
Surgery setup and maintenance
Accurate record keeping
Patient photography
Completing lab tasks as required
General cleaning and equipment maintenance
