Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedCNC Machinist / Supervisorto join our day shift team.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys machining, mentoring others, and ensuring quality and productivity on the workshop floor.
About the RoleAs our CNC Machinist / Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating and supervising CNC machining activities while supporting the day-to-day performance of the production team.
You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, meeting production schedules, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machining centres.
Supervise and support a team of machinists during day shift operations.
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achieved.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workshop environment.
Assist with process improvements and workflow optimisation.
CNC programming (preferred but not essential).
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or the ability to step into a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining practices, tooling, and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
CNC programming experience is highly regarded.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
