A little about the role
Our Support Worker Co-ordinator is seeking expressions of interest to join a casual support worker pool.
Ashley would love to hear from experienced Support Workers to primarily work after school hours and weekends - supports are generally 3-5 hrs long.
Supports undertaken include school pickups, participation in community events, sports/ outdoor recreation.
Transporting children and young people to appointments, providing therapeutic supports and implementing therapy goals.
Excellent rates SCHADS Level 3, $***** - $***** per hour inclusive of casual loading and allowances.
These positions are CASUAL roles.
About you
You will bring demonstrated experience with dealing with vulnerable children and young people of various ages from 0-18years.




You must reside in Kununurra or the surrounding area.
You will have a concise understanding of trauma informed therapeutic care to assist in deescalating and responding to critical incidents with the young person.
You will have experience in dealing with children and young people with 'complex needs and behaviours' and the ability to therapeutically manage these behaviours
You will be required to be available, after school hours and weekends.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a 395 Dept of Communities / National Police Check, hold a valid WWCC, First Aid/CPR and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Full Australian driver's licence, full comprehensive insurance (including business use), roadside assistance and registered vehicle is mandatory as travel between sites is required.
