The Client
Our client is an established industry leader with a strong national presence and reputation.
They are seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a broad role offering exposure across reporting, compliance, payroll and business operations.
You will take ownership of key accounting processes while supporting a high-performing team in a successful and growing organisation.
The Role
Month-end, half-year and year-end processes
Preparation of management reports and financial reportingli>
Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
BAS, IAS, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax compliance
Payroll support and processing
Cashflow management and forecasting
Budgeting support and variance analysis
Fixed asset register management
Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Assisting with external audits
Continuous process improvement initiatives
Ad hoc finance and reporting duties
The Person
Minimum 3 years' accounting experience
Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards completion
Strong experience across month-end reporting and financial accounting
Solid understanding of compliance and statutory reporting requirements
Strong Excel and systems capability
Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills highly regarded
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team workplace
