Our Laundry team plays an important role in supporting this mission by ensuring our facilities receive clean, hygienic and high-quality linen every day.
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Laundry Assistants to join our busy production team.
Employment Type:Part Time (09:00am-2:00pm)
Monday to Friday (25 hours per week)
About the Role
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced commercial laundry environment.
You will assist with processing linen from start to finish, helping ensure our facilities receive clean and professionally prepared linen.
Your duties will include:
Sorting personal laundry for our aged care facilities and scrubs for our Aegis Health hospital.
Operating industrial washers, dryers and ironer/folder equipment
Inspecting linen for cleanliness and quality
Folding, packing and preparing linen orders for dispatch
Picking and packing linen based on order lists
Maintaining protected work practices and hygiene standards
Working collaboratively to meet daily production targets
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment




Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Physical capability for manual handling tasks and working on your feet
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A positive, reliable and "can-do" attitude
Desirable:
Previous experience in commercial or healthcare laundry
