What will you do?
/ How will you help?
In This Role, You Will
Lead, coach and support dental assistants and reception staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including rostering, invoicing and stock management
Ensure compliance with infection control standards, clinical protocols and organisational policies
Conduct audits, spot checks and performance reviews, identifying training and development needs
Support onboarding and ongoing development of new and existing team members
Manage and respond to patient enquiries,



complaints and feedback professionally
Partner closely with the Senior Dental Manager and Clinical Director as well as work alongside the Health Centre Manager to ensure smooth centre operations
Maintain accurate records, financial reporting and operational documentation
What do you need?
/What are we looking for?
Essential
Previous leadership experience in a dental or healthcare setting (e.g. Practice Manager, Head Dental Assistant, Clinical Coordinator)
Strong people management, communication and customer service skills
Proven ability to lead in a coaching and supportive manner
Solid understanding of clinical compliance, infection control and audit processes
Confidence managing difficult conversations and patient complaints
Demonstrated experience as a hands-on Dental Assistant, comfortable working clinically alongside the team
Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on audits, compliance, and accuracy

Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or related qualification
Experience with Oasis
Exposure to working within a health fund or multi-disciplinary health centre
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a shared leadership workplace
