Experienced Maintenance Employee – Urban Parks Maintenance
Permanent Full Time
Location: Latrobe City
Band 3 Salary: $68,****** plus applicable allowances, up
to $4,****** and 12% superannuation

The Role
As a valued member of our Urban Maintenance team, you will
assist across many areas of the municipality with maintenance operations when
and where work priorities demand, helping to achieve the overall maintenance
objectives of the operations teams.
This will included open space maintenance through tasks such
as operating ride on mowers, tractors and small plant and equipment.
Enjoy the outdoors, working a 9-day fortnight from 7:00 am –
4:00 pm!
Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Council's
depot in Moe.
About You
We are seeking a dedicated all-rounder who is passionate
about delivering high-quality work.
You will be friendly, approachable, and professional to be
able to communicate with the public, clients, and other employees.
You will have:
Current
Medium Rigid Vehicle licence as a minimum
Current
Traffic Control and Worksite Management Certificate
Construction
Induction (White Card)
Practical
experience performing turf and grass maintenance for Municipal Council or
similar size operation.
Proven
experience in the safe and competent operation of the types of plant and
equipment used in turf and grass maintenance.
Possession
of a current Farm Chemical User/Herbicide Application Certificate
Practical
experience in one or more of the following:
- General horticultural maintenance
- Routine turf and grass mowing.
Desirable:
Current
First Aid
Experience
working with a Municipal Council or similar authority.
All successful applicants are required to undergo a Police
Check, Pre-Employment Medical Check and hold a valid employee Working with
Children Check.
