We are currently seeking experiencedSteel Fixersfor a busy precast manufacturing yard based in the Brisbane area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and respected facility that services major construction and infrastructure projects across the state.
With long-term projects ahead, your role will be secure and fulfilling.
As a Steel Fixer, you will play a vital role in the production of reinforced precast elements, ensuring all steel is accurately placed and secured according to drawings and specifications.
Your Role
Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings and plans
Cutting, bending, and tying steel to specifications
Setting up steel reinforcements in moulds prior to concrete pour
Working safely and effectively in a team environment
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a steel fixer in a construction or precast environment
Ability to read and interpret plans and reinforcement schedules
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
A team player with a proactive attitude and reliability
Requirements
WHS White Card
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Trade qualifications are desirable but not essential

Daily Travel Allowance - $32/day
Paid 7.2 ordinary hours/day + 0.80 RDO accrued daily
Weekly Redundancy Contributions: BERT $62, BEWT $7, CIPQ $*****
Overtime paid atdouble time
Full time hours
