About the Role...
This heavily hands-on full-time position is based inTwo Wells,and at various times, mechanical work at Salisbury Plain Head Office is needed.
You will be working in a small but active team that reports to the Facilities Manager and you will be responsible for:
· Completion of all required service and repair work on various plant equipment on site
· Diagnosis, repairs and reconditioning
· Troubleshooting and rectification of vehicle control system
· Replacement or service/refurbishment of perishable/practical life or consumable machine components
· Maintaining records of services and repair works
· Attendance to service calls when required
Okay, what do I need to have to be successful?
...
· Desired Mechanic and/or Heavy qualification (or comparable international qualification) as a Mechanic, Fitter with experience in plant equipment
· Proficient mechanical knowledge and proven field service, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance
· At least two years' relevant experience is preferred
· Drivers licence - preferred card MR or HR.

· Ability to work autonomously when the job requires and also within a team
· A solution-finding approach with the drive of "how can I do this better?"
· A sense of urgency for various jobs and punctuality at work
