We're looking for aSystem Administratorto join our team and play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and improving our IT systems and infrastructure.
About the Role
As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking IT team, you'll be responsible for supporting and enhancing our technology environment, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient.
This role offers hands-on involvement across a broad range of technologies, with opportunities to further develop your technical, analytical, and operational IT skills.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Administering and maintaining Windows servers, virtual environments, networks, and IT infrastructure.
Supporting users with hardware, software, and system-related issues.
Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Monitoring system performance, availability, backups, and business-critical services.
Assisting with infrastructure upgrades, system improvements, and technology projects.
Supporting cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring systems remain secure and compliant.
Developing and maintaining IT documentation, procedures, and automation initiatives.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across a diverse technology environment.
About You
Whether you're early in your systems administration career or bring extensive experience, we're looking for someone with a genuine passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills,
and a willingness to continuously learn.
You'll ideally bring some of the following:
Experience in system administration, infrastructure support, networking, or IT operations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and networking technologies.
Experience supporting end users and resolving technical issues in a qualified environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and continuously improving IT services.
Experience with scripting, automation, backup solutions, or cloud technologies is beneficial.
A tertiary qualification and/or certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, Cisco, or similar are beneficial but not essential.
An understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity principles, and frameworks such as ISO *****, Essential Eight, NIST, or CMMC is advantageous.
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
