Harley Day Surgery provides patients specialist dental & oral surgery in a SA Health licenced and NSQHS accredited private day procedure hospital in the heart of North Adelaide's medical precinct.
We are seeking a registered nurse to join our close-knit clinical team to provide our inpatients with exceptional clinical services in both the preoperative & postoperative recovery phase of their admission.
Your responsibilities
Provide quality nursing care for all inpatients requiring care in the Day Surgery.
Work across pre-admission through to discharge and post discharge follow-up.
Provide clinical support to our Clinicians and Dental Assistants during perioperative procedures including anaesthetics.
Participate in medical responses.
About you
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 12-month working experience within an Australian perioperative hospital setting (essential)
Experience in preoperative and postoperative recovery patient care




Stage 1 &/or 2 Recovery experience
Knowledge of legal aspects of perioperative practice
Currency of Infection Control policies and processes
Current BLS/ALS qualifications
Knowledge of current ACORN standards
An excellent communicator, highly organised with high attention to detail
Knowledge of NQSHSS and hospital accreditation requirements (desirable)
Dental and/or oral surgery experience desirable
