Role DetailsWe are seeking a Case Worker to join the team at our St Marys Inner South office, where you will play a key role in promoting the safety, wellbeing and development of children and young people.
This role provides the opportunity to join a collaborative team, apply your professional skills, develop your experience and contribute to positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
In this role, you will:
• Work within a case management framework to support children and their families• Use a range of professional interventions and case work techniques• Visit children in care and provide support and assistance as required• Connect clients to appropriate services, as well as formal and informal community networks• Provide culturally appropriate and aware services.
About you:• You have experience in handling conflict and managing challenging behaviours• You show a commitment to developing and maintaining positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders• You possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing• You can support child safety outcomes for families who live in remote Aboriginal communities.
