About the role
We are seeking experiencedMC 2 Up Teamsbased in Adelaide, operating on the Adelaide to Perth route.
We offer flexibility and the opportunity to work with a energetic team on long-haul transport operations.
The role is based inTwo Wells SA ****, and you will be part of a two-driver team responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across significant distances.
This position is ideal for experienced drivers seeking casual work with a reputable transport company.
Key responsibilities
Operating a MC (Multi-Combination) vehicle as part of a 2Up driver team on the Adelaide to Perth route
Sharing driving duties with your team partner to ensure safe and compliant journey completion
Conducting pre-and post-journey vehicle inspections to maintain safety and roadworthiness standards
Adhering to all traffic laws, weight regulations and hours-of-service requirements
Maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation
Communicating effectively with dispatch and management regarding journey progress and any issues
Ensuring is secured and transported safely to destination
Contributing to a safety-conscious workplace culture and reporting hazards or concerns
Maintaining the vehicle in good working order and reporting maintenance issues promptly
What we're looking for
Current and valid Multi-Combination (MC) licence appropriate for the vehicle you will operate
Extensive experience driving heavy vehicles, particularly, Road Trains and AB Triples
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a two-driver team in close quarters
Strong safety record and commitment to adhering to all transport regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent time management and ability to work to tight schedules whilst maintaining safety standards
Qualified communication skills and the ability to liaise with dispatch, clients and team members
Physical fitness and stamina required for long-distance driving duties
BFM Certificate and current driver medical
Flexibility and reliability, essential for casual work arrangements
