Visa2land Pty Ltd The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of external telecommunication equipment and the ability to work independently.
You will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver reliable and cutting-edge solutions, ensuring that our clients enjoy seamless connectivity.
Benefits Technically challenging environment Opportunities to work on innovative projects in diverse environments A supportive and collaborative work culture Task & responsibilities Installing, configuring, and repairing telecommunication equipment such as aerial lines, conduits, and underground cables; Examining work areas to determine the positioning and connections for equipment installation within the specifications; Locating faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments networking and/or transmission measuring equipment; Adjusting, replacing, and repairing faulty items, and conducting thorough testing of equipment using electronic instruments; Joining cables and sealing sheaths effectively with lead and thermoplastic materials; Erecting, testing, and maintaining aerial and underground wires, cables, and antennae; Installing switchboards,



and data transmission equipment to ensure optimal functionality; Maintaining accurate records of all telecommunication equipment, inventory, and maintenance activities; Working daily with the project team; planning daily work to accomplish activities; Follow safety requirements, protocols and processes; Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in line works; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement current technologies and solutions that improve network capabilities and customer satisfaction; Ensure all modifications and applications comply with industry standards and regulations; Adhering to all company's Work Health and Safety (WHS), and environmental policies, promoting a safe and sustainable work culture; Stay current with industry trends and advancements in telecommunications technology.
Qualification & experience Tertiary qualifications in telecommunications.
