Pharmacy Assistant (Inventory & Stock)
About the Role
Mundaring Amcal Pharmacy is seeking an organised, motivated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant (Inventory & Stock) to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is one of the most important roles in our pharmacy and forms the foundation of our retail and pharmacy operations.
Every day, you'll help ensure our pharmacy is well presented, products are correctly priced and promoted, stock is available when customers need it, and our store is easy to shop.
Working closely with our pharmacists and retail team, you'll develop a strong understanding of how a successful community pharmacy operates while building valuable skills in inventory management, merchandising, customer service and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, check and process pharmaceutical and retail stock deliveries
Maintain accurate inventory levels throughout the pharmacy
Merchandise shelves in line with Amcal Pharmacy planograms and promotional campaigns
Ensure products are correctly priced, displayed and easy for customers to locate
Monitor stock rotation and expiry dates to maintain compliance and minimise waste
Maintain clean, organised and efficient storage areas
Assist with stock ordering, replenishment and inventory control
Support pharmacists by ensuring products are readily available when required
Assist customers to locate products and provide friendly,



professional service while maintaining the shop floor
Contribute to maintaining a welcoming, organised and professional pharmacy environment

We're looking for someone who:
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Enjoys creating an attractive and well-presented retail setting
Is proactive, reliable and willing to learn
Enjoys helping customers and working as part of a team
Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Can safely handle deliveries and move stock throughout the day
Previous pharmacy or retail experience is welcomed but not essential.
We value attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn above all else, and full training will be provided.
