We are currently seeking a reliable and motivatedTrades Assistantto join our workshop team supporting ourHeavy Plant and Truck Mechanic.
This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to build mechanical experience, or is looking to start a career in the heavy vehicle or plant industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting mechanic with servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy trucks and earthmoving plant
Cleaning and preparing parts, tools, and work areas
Moving equipment and parts within the workshop
Basic mechanical tasks under supervision
Workshop housekeeping and general yard duties
Following all safety procedures and workshop standards
About You




Mechanical aptitude or interest in trucks and earthmoving plant
Previous workshop experience preferred
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Driver's licence essential
