The Team
The legal team is cohesive, widely trusted and growing.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, they need a lawyer who enjoys variety and can work across commercial matters, corporate governance and property law, serving as a trusted legal voice for stakeholders across the business from day one.
Every member of the team works across a large number of strategic projects, business as usual work, and regulatory and governance matters.
It's a busy team, doing genuinely interesting and varied work.
The Work Itself
In this role, you will work across a range of commercial,



strategic and operational matters, partnering with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
Depending on your experience and interests, matters may include:
Major commercial contracting and negotiations
Strategic projects and growth
Mergers and acquisitions
Property, leasing and development matters
Procurement and supplier arrangements
Data governance and technology projects
Regulatory and compliance advice
Corporate governance and company secretariat support
Additionally, you will have exposure to the global property portfolio, including construction contracts.
You'll take the legal lead on your matters, with support from the rest of the legal team and a close working relationship with the business.

A commercial lawyer with 4-7 years PAE and strong contract drafting experience.
Exposure to property law is a plus but not essential and by no means a focus of your day to day.
Experience from a well-regarded private practice firm or in-house environment preferred.
You are a self-starter who is calm, pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the commercial acumen and confidence to manage multiple matters and stakeholders independently.
