About the Role
The JG Category Buyer is responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating the procurement of jewellery products across designated categories, ensuring a compelling and commercially competitive assortment.
This role involves building strong supplier relationships, analysing market trends, and making strategic purchasing decisions that drive sales performance and margin growth.
Working cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, and marketing teams, the Category Buyer plays a key role in shaping the product range and delivering a customer-focused jewellery offer.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms.
Build and manage a jewellery category range.




Analyse sales and market data to drive category performance.
Manage supplier relationships and end-to-end procurement processes.
Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and marketing teams.
Manage gross profit.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Essential:
Buying/category experience is a key.
Strong negotiation skills with a commercial, results-driven mindset.
Passionate about jewellery trends and customer insights (jewellery experience is a bonus).
Analytical thinker with confident data-driven decision making.
Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
Highly organised with strong supplier relationship management skills.
Experience with managing diverse categories.
