We are on the lookout for a Operations Supervisor to join our team in Stapylton.
The successful person will support Evoro's Non-Destructive Digging (NDD), Drain Cleaning, and associated civil service lines across the Queensland market.
Reporting directly to the GM QLD, the successful applicant will work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent, customer-first experience.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure targets are achieved by working with your team to ensure all jobs can be delivered on time, in full and with no damages;
Ensure that resource allocation is optimised at all times to reduce costs and achieve performance measures;
Contribute to a safe working setting and ensure that no employee is performing tasks they have not been trained to do;
Identify and initiate employee training where performance shortfalls are recognised or opportunities for advancement are presented;
Communicate with your team, supervisors and customers to meet agreed schedules and escalate any issues;
Be safe and follow all Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions;
Respond to and investigate all incidents, hazards, unsafe acts and damages without delay;
Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guidelines, DG codes,
road laws and council regulations;
Qualification & Experience
Previous experience in the Transport Industry in a supervisory role; preferably with strong administration experience
Sound knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements, Load Restraint requirements, WHS and relevant transportation Acts and Regulations
Skills & Attributes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with data entry & excel spreadsheets
Excellent customer service skills and an ability to connect with people in a way where they feel valued and assisted, with a strong customer service focus
A get in and get the job done attitude, happy to do any task required to achieve the operational goals
A flexible attitude towards an ever changing to do list as operational priorities adjust
Pride in doing a job to a high standard and the ability to follow through on tasks and solve problems when required
Ability to follow company policy and ensure all staff adhere to relevant policies and procedures
