We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join our team and play a critical role in supporting production operations through effective inventory and warehouse management.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials and components while maintaining accurate inventory records.
This hands-on role is essential to ensuring production schedules are supported through efficient material flow and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials
Pick, pack, and issue materials to production teams
Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system
Load and unload deliveries using a forklift
Prepare and dispatch customer orders and supplier returns
Ensure warehouse and storage areas remain organised and safe
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
Comply with all quality, safety, and environmental procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environment
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Good computer skills and experience using ERP or inventory systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Robust organisational and time-management skills
A proactive attitude with a commitment to workplace safety
Desirable
Experience within advanced manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or precision machining industries
Experience with ERP systems
Current driver's licence
