The Role
Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning, and laundry services.
Working Part-Time, reporting to the Manager, you'll support weekday operations by cleaning resident rooms, shared spaces, and managing laundry services, ensuring infection control standards across our 93-bed home.
You will build strong relationships with our residents, families, and Care Staff, contributing to the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a solid sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our resident's quality of life.About Us

What you will do




Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
Distribution of meals to residents & dining room services
All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility
Completing required documentation and reporting
Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished
Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling
What you will bring
Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (not essential)
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Currently hold an NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
