SENIOR TOWN PLANNER

THE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced planner to take ownership of a diverse range of development projects while working alongside highly skilled professionals.
Flexible working arrangements can be considered, including full-time or part-time employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to)
Prepare and author a range of planning documentation, including Statements of Environmental Effects (SEE), Scoping studies and Planning Proposals, preliminary assessments and reviews for permissibility and feasibility and provide solutions to any development issues, and other relevant reports
Manage projects from initial feasibility and concept design through to final approval.
Coordinate and oversee development approval processes with local councils and relevant authorities.
Undertake project management responsibilities, including lodgement of applications, consultant coordination, sourcing and reviewing quotations, managing project deliverables and timelines
Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, councils, service providers, and government agencies.
Provide mentoring and day-to-day support to junior planning staff through structured guidance and training.
Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Planning team.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A recognised Australian qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
A minimum offour years' experiencein a Town Planning role.
Sound knowledge of NSW planning legislation, policies, and approval processes.
Strong report-writing and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
