Our Equity and Social Impact Division brings together policy and reform advice, while helping those experiencing vulnerability to participate safely and securely in our economy and remain connected with the community.
It also provides grants to community groups and non-government organisations to expand services to support people.
Role Details
The Principal Project Officer Reconciliation is a role within the Equity and Social Impact Division and is accountable to the Director, Social Policy, Evaluation and Reform Directorate for:
leading the development of the Department's Reconciliation Action Plan




monitoring and reporting on the Department's progress against its Reconciliation Action Plan
leading and initiating cooperative program and policy development, implementation, review, research
and evaluation
coordinating reconciliation efforts across the department, identifying opportunities for improvement and
synergies between activities.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.Out of hours work may be required.
Term contract up to twelve (12) months.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role.
National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
