The Role

As part of our future workforce planning, we are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from exceptional secondary teachers who may be interested in joining our teaching community in ****.
We are looking for creative, energetic and caring educators who place students at the centre of their practice and are committed to helping every learner achieve their personal best.

we are particularly interested in connecting with educators whose expertise includesLanguages (German); Senior General Maths and Mathematical Methods;andBusiness, Economics or related disciplines, as these curriculum areas form an important part of our future workforce planning.

Deliver engaging, evidence-based and differentiated teaching and learning programs aligned with curriculum requirements.
Create inclusive, learner-centred classroom environments that support student wellbeing, achievement and belonging.
Nurture the spiritual, academic, social and emotional growth of students through high-quality pastoral care.
Build positive and productive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
Collaboratively plan, assess and evaluate learning programs to enhance student outcomes.
Contribute positively to the co-curricular and wider life of the College.
Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
Selection Criteria

Demonstrated expertise and successful teaching experience within their secondary curriculum area(s).
The ability to design and deliver engaging, inclusive and evidence-based learning experiences that support diverse learners.
Strong knowledge of contemporary curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices.
A commitment to student wellbeing, pastoral care and fostering a positive learning culture.
Excellent communication,

Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility for registration)
