We have a retail outlet serving the general public and a wholesale depot where we pack orders for businesses such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, hospitals and accommodation camps.
You have the opportunity to become a valued member of our team as a Storeperson/ Forklift Driver.
Role Description includes but is not limited to:
· Unloading pallets of stock and packing into cold room
· Label incoming stock with batch codes
· Quality control and stock rotation
· Picking of orders for hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs
· Cleaning & maintaining a neat & tidy work environment
· Manual handling and other warehouse duties are required
Hours of work
The position is casual with the opportunity to move to full time after a qualifying period
Wholesale depot operates 6 days per week
Early start required
Overtime available
Selection Criteria:
· Food industry knowledge and experience (Fruit & Vegetable industry preferred)
· Ability to multi-task
· Reasonably fit as some heavy lifting is involved
· Valid Forklift licence and experience
· Solid English communication skills
Special knowledge/skills that would be an advantage to the business
· Ability to prioritise work
· Ability to supervise staff
· Computer skills
· Delivery driving experience
· HR truck licence
Training and upskilling will be provided for the successful applicant.
Opportunities include:
