We are seeking a friendly, reliable and hard-working staff member to join our busy newsagency located in Caneland Shopping Centre, Mackay.
This is a casual position with stable and long-term hours available for the right person.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with enquiries
Operate POS system and handle cash / EFT payments accurately
Restock shelves, newspapers, magazines, gifts and stationery items
Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
Receive and unpack daily deliveries
Process Lotto/Tatts sales (training provided)
Assist with basic shop opening and closing tasks
What we are looking for
Friendly personality with good communication skills
Reliable,



punctual and able to work independently
Able to work weekdays and weekends as required
Previous retail or newsagency experience is an advantage (not essential)
Long-term commitment preferred
