Full Time, Fixed Term Contract - 6/6/202780 hours per fortnight - Inclusive of ADO Accrual
Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
This role will be responsible for leading the Switchboard Emergency Reception, Private Patient Liaison, and, Relieving Clerical teams.
This position is based within the People and Corporate Operations team and reports to the Executive Director People and Corporate Operations.
The successful candidates must be able to work well under pressure with competing demands, be competent in clinical and administrative settings, and be familiar with medical terminology and privacy principles.
The ability to work as a team member, within a small and enthusiastic team, is essential.
Preferred Experience For This Role
Patient registration and admissionBilling processesPatient management system, preferably Vital,Understanding of emergency/code responses in health setting,Rostering experience.
