The role
We're looking for experienced and new to industry Fitter tradespeople to join our underground team.

Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot underground longwall and associated equipment Perform planned and breakdown maintenance to high quality and safety standards Follow and contribute to secure work systems, including isolation and lock-out procedures Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors and operators to optimise production and reliability Support continuous improvement,



training and mentoring of less experienced crewConduct effective maintenance practices and carry out fault finding and diagnostics on complex systems including:continuous minersautomated longwall systemssurface and underground conveyors
You'll succeed if you have
Underground coal experience (desirable)Relevant trade qualification (Fitter) Experience with heavy mobile equipment, underground plant or mining systems desirable Strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices Good communication skills and a team‐first attitude Ability to obtain any site‐specific mining certifications and medicals required
