About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication tasks on a variety of structural and mechanical components.
This role is ideal for experienced tradespeople with solid pressure welding and fabrication backgrounds who are seeking workshop stability, competitive rates, and exposure to diverse and challenging welding projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fabrication and welding tasks in line with AS****** standards
Work across a range of structural, mechanical, and TIG welding projects
Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Proven experience and proficiency in TIG, FCAW, and MMAW welding processes (AS****** SP minimum)
Current and valid Driver's Licence
Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets – highly regarded
High-Risk Work Licence (Forklift or Dogging) – desirable
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
