Solar & Battery KI Investment Group is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to drive digital transformation across our solar installation operations.
This role focuses on building integrated systems that streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enable real-time data flow across departments including sales, design, installation, procurement, and maintenance.
You will play a key role in Quality Assurance Engineer, automating processes, enhancing system performance, and supporting scalable growth in a fast-paced renewable energy setting.

Competitive salary Flexible work hours Opportunities for career growth and development Task & responsibilities Job Tasks – Solar Industry Role Scheduling, coordinating, and conducting quality assurance inspections of solar PV installations, electrical systems, equipment, and project documentation to ensure compliance with Australian Standards, manufacturer requirements, and company procedures.
Reviewing and analysing solar installation data, system performance reports, technical documentation, commissioning records, and compliance certificates to identify quality issues, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Identifying installation variations, technical risks, safety concerns, and potential non-compliance areas relating to solar PV systems, electrical works, equipment configuration, and operational procedures.
Developing and recommending corrective action plans to resolve quality issues, improve installation processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Communicating, educating, and liaising with installers, electricians, engineers, project managers, customers, and management teams to promote awareness and adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and best practices.




Assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving technical issues associated with solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage systems, monitoring platforms, electrical components, and installation processes.
Providing technical guidance, training, and support to solar installation teams regarding system design, installation procedures, commissioning requirements, software applications, and operational practices.
Analysing, evaluating, and diagnosing technical faults related to solar equipment, including photovoltaic panels, inverters, battery energy storage systems, monitoring software, communication devices, electrical components, and control systems.
Conducting system testing, performance assessments, and fault diagnosis activities to identify installation defects, equipment failures, configuration issues, and operational inefficiencies while ensuring compliance with established testing procedures.
Reviewing solar system designs, installation methodologies, and technical architectures to assess current performance, identify future improvement opportunities, and recommend suitable technology upgrades and solutions.
Preparing, maintaining, and reviewing technical documentation including inspection reports, quality audit records, compliance documents, installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, maintenance manuals, and technical specifications.
Maintaining accurate records of solar project audits, corrective actions, equipment testing results, maintenance activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by analysing recurring technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing strategies to improve solar installation quality, safety,



and customer satisfaction.
Ensuring all solar projects comply with relevant Australian regulations and standards, including electrical safety requirements, Clean Energy Council guidelines, manufacturer specifications, and workplace health and safety procedures.
This is a full-time permanent role, with at least 38hrs/week engagement.
Qualification & experience
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering or relevant field,
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager would be preferred,
Strong understanding of energy sector, processes, methods, materials, and quality requirements.
Experience managing quality systems, audits, and compliance processes.
