About the Role:
We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and proactive Disability Support Workers to support an NDIS participant with complex needs.
This role involves working closely with the family and allied health professionals to implement a support plans that includes strategies for safety, communication, and mobility .
Support needs may include:
Assisting with daily routines, including personal care and mealtimes
Implementing proactive and responsive strategies
Providing supervision and environmental safety
Administering support in line with manual handling and stoma with training.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in both home and community settings.
Maintain a calm, trauma-informed and person-centred approach at all times.
Accurately complete shift reports and data reports.
Ensure safety during transport and community access.




Engage the participant in therapeutic play, music, sensory activities and routines.
Promote independence and emotional development through structured activities.
About You:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Community services in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent (essential).
Experience supporting children and adults
Willingness to be trained in protocols by staff and parents
Excellent communication and observational skills.
Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check (WWCC), and valid driver's licence.
Desirable:
Assisting and open to Play to promote regulation
