What will you do?

In This Role, You Will
Lead, coach and support dental assistants and reception staff to deliver high-quality patient careOversee the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including rostering, invoicing and stock managementEnsure compliance with infection control standards, clinical protocols and organisational policiesConduct audits, spot checks and performance reviews, identifying training and development needsSupport onboarding and ongoing development of new and existing team membersManage and respond to patient enquiries,



complaints and feedback professionallyPartner closely with the Senior Dental Manager and Clinical Director as well as work alongside the Health Centre Manager to ensure smooth centre operationsMaintain accurate records, financial reporting and operational documentation
What do you need?
/What are we looking for?
Essential
Previous leadership experience in a dental or healthcare setting (e.g. Practice Manager, Head Dental Assistant, Clinical Coordinator)Strong people management, communication and customer service skillsProven ability to lead in a coaching and supportive mannerSolid understanding of clinical compliance, infection control and audit processesConfidence managing difficult conversations and patient complaintsDemonstrated experience as a hands-on Dental Assistant, comfortable working clinically alongside the teamHighly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on audits, compliance, and accuracyThis role is only open to candidates with Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Desirable:
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or related qualificationExperience with OasisExposure to working within a health fund or multi-disciplinary health centreProven ability to work collaboratively in a shared leadership environment
