Job Description
Beyond Potential Group Pty Ltd The Commercial Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment across commercial premises by performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties.
The successful candidate will ensure cleaning activities are completed to the highest standards while complying with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.
This position is ideal for an individual who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, fittings, windows, and other surfaces.
Clean and disinfect kitchens, lunchrooms, bathrooms, and toilet facilities.
Empty waste bins, remove rubbish, and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
Replenish consumable supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, damaged equipment, or safety concerns.
Follow safe chemical handling procedures and use cleaning products in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS)



policies and infection control procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across all assigned sites.
Complete cleaning schedules, checklists, and workplace documentation accurately.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve operational objectives.
Qualification & experience Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
Previous experience of Minimum 1 -3 years in commercial, industrial, office, or facilities cleaning is highly regarded.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and repetitive movements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
Desirable Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or a related qualification.
Experience using commercial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum systems.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling and infection control procedures.
Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable transport.
National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (where required for specific client sites).
First Aid Certificate (advantageous).
