The Role




We're currently looking for a medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one full year of nursing experience.
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients.
The EN will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN;) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW or Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
Our Location
The South Coast Correctional Centre (SCCC) is a ****-bed facility that houses male offenders in minimum, medium, and maximum-security areas, usually those sentenced locally and/or with family and community ties.
The SCCC is in South Nowra, approximately 168km south of Sydney and 5km from the Nowra CBD.
The SCCC provides accommodation for inmates as well as services and programs for recreation, education, and employment.
Reporting up to a passionate Nurse Unit Manager, you will work alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprising of primary care, drug & alcohol and mental health services.
