Key responsibilities as Plumber...
You'll be responsible for delivering efficient plumbing maintenance and installation works across Council buildings and public facilities, while providing your specialised technical advice and recommendations on matters relating to plumbing.

Commencing annual salary from $75,953 to $83,738
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
Annual performance-based progression opportunity – up to $92,321
Plus 12% superannuation
A mobile phone and vehicle for operational use.
Our outdoor employees are currently involved in a 4-day working week trial which will conclude in early October.
At the conclusion of the trial period,
Council will review the arrangement and determine whether the 4-day working week will continue, or employees will return to the standard nine-day working fortnight.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
You'll have effective time management skills which will allow you to make accurate decisions in a timely manner.
Your problem-solving skills will be well-developed, and you'll have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
In addition to this you'll need:
A Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (Operations)
A current NSW Endorsed Contractor Licence (or Qualified Supervisor Certificate) in Plumbing, Draining and Gasfitting
At least two years post-trade experience in all aspects of plumbing, drainage and gas-fitting
A minimum C Drivers Licence
A General Construction Induction White Card
Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing standards and relevant legislation
Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices and its application in the workplace
Solid literacy skills along with the ability to read and interpret building and engineering plans.
