As they continue to strengthen their presence across Australia and New Zealand, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Country Finance Head – ANZ to lead the finance function and play a pivotal role in shaping business performance and growth.
With full accountability for the ANZ finance function, this key leadership position provides strategic partnership to the Country Leadership Team while acting as the key finance liaison with the APAC CFO and regional stakeholders.
About the RoleReporting to the APAC CFO and partnering closely with the ANZ leadership team, you will have end-to-end responsibility for financial performance, governance, cash flow optimisation, financial planning, and finance operations across Australia and New Zealand.
You will lead a local finance team while overseeing the effective delivery of transactional finance activities through a Shared Services model, ensuring solid controls, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities include:Strategic Business PartneringPartner with ANZ leadership to support business strategy, growth initiatives, and commercial decision-makingLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processesDeliver meaningful financial insights that drive profitability and performance improvementsSupport strategic projects, investment decisions,



and business transformation initiativesFinance LeadershipOwn the ANZ P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow performanceLead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cyclesDrive financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance monitoringImprove margins, cost discipline, and working capital outcomesShared Services & Operational ExcellenceGovern and optimise the finance Shared Services model supporting ANZEnsure SLA delivery across AP, AR, and GL processesAct as the primary escalation point between ANZ and offshore finance teamsDrive process improvements, automation initiatives, and service quality enhancementsGovernance, Risk & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all statutory, taxation, and internal control requirementsLead audit relationships and risk managementMaintain robust controls across both local and shared-service operationsTreasury & Cash ManagementManage cash flow forecasting and working capital performancePartner with Group Treasury on FX exposure management and hedging strategiesLeadershipLead, coach, and develop a high-performing ANZ finance teamBuild capability across both local and shared services teams




What we're looking for:You are an accomplished finance leader with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes while maintaining strong financial governance in complex multinational businesses.10+ years' finance leadership experience within multinational organisationsProven success leading a country, division, or business unit finance functionCommercial finance and business partneringFinancial reporting and controlWorking capital optimisation and cash managementDemonstrated experience managing or governing shared services/offshore finance models (essential)Industry exposure within manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, or other supply-chain intensive sectors highly regarded
Your Technical CapabilityCA or CPA qualified (MBA advantageous)Advanced SAP experienceStrong financial modelling and Excel skillsExposure to BI tools such as Power BI or QlikSenseStrong understanding of treasury, FX management, internal controls, and risk management
