About Your New Role
Based in Adelaide (preferred), as aPurchasing Officerwithin our National Procurement Team, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient ordering of goods and services for the business.
This position is essential to ensuring that purchasing activities are executed accurately, cost-effectively, and in line with business needs.
Working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the broader procurement team, you will help maintain effective supply channels, optimise purchasing outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement across the procurement function.
This Is a Key Role Within the Business and Will Be Responsible For:
Managing purchase orders from creation through to delivery and closure
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure accurate lead times, order confirmations, and on-time supply
Monitoring order status, resolving discrepancies, and escalating issues when required
Working with internal teams to confirm requirements, specifications, and demand forecasts
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and preparing regular procurement reports
Supporting supplier performance monitoring and identifying improvement opportunities




Assisting in cost optimisation activities and contributing to procurement process improvements
What Will Make You Successful:
Solid understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain principles, and supplier management
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Experience building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality internal customer service
The Following Are Desirable:
Previous experience in procurement or material planning
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft D365
Experience within industrial, mining, or manufacturing sectors
