About the role
Villeroy & Boch is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Biggera Waters, Queensland. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers and contributing to the overall success of our store. This is a
CASUAL position,
offering a flexible and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Expect 8 hrs to 12 hours per week on average.
What you'll be doing
Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the right products
Maintaining a tidy and well-organized store environment to create a welcoming atmosphere
Assisting with the processing of sales transactions, including handling cash and processing returns
Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge to offer informed recommendations to customers
Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store
Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the store
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the home goods or lifestyle products industry
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a visually appealing store environment
A positive, enthusiastic,
and flexible attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
Flexibility in working days, role Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating roster
Ability to handle up to heavier items such as dinner box sets up to 15kg max weight.
Must have the right to work in Australia with appropriate documentation
Experience in visual merchandising and creating attractive product displays is not essential but beneficial
