The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be working across a variety of buses, trucks, trailers, and coaches, taking ownership of repairs from strip-down to completion.
What You'll Be Doing
Inspect incoming parts for accuracy and quality
Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels and structural components
Perform metal shaping, welding, and fabrication work
Carry out repairs aligned with OEM standards and job specifications
Complete full disassembly and reassembly of vehicles
Ensure all work meets safety and industry compliance standards
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
Adhere to OH&S; requirements and PPE standards
Work collaboratively within a skilled, multi-trade team
About You
You're a tradesperson who takes pride in precision and quality.
Trade qualified Panel Beater (essential)
Experience with heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, trailers highly regarded)
Solid skills in metal work, welding, and structural repairs
Knowledge of frame alignment & rust treatment
Experience with body filler, sanding & paint prep
Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
A team player with solid communication skills
Committed to safety and a clean workspace
