MECHANICAL FITTER
Newland Precision Engineering is a specialist manufacturer of drilling and mining equipment, delivering high-quality engineering solutions to clients across Australia and Internationally. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Kalgoorlie Team. This position is workshop based and will report to the Workshop Manager
The position will be responsible for duties including:
Assembly of manufactured components.
Repairs and Maintenance of customer owned assets and equipment.
Mechanical Assembly and Diagnostics.
Hydraulic/Pneumatic Assembly and Diagnostics.
Commission and repair machines and equipment on site as required.
Support customers and ensure they receive the highest quality service.
Comply with Quality Procedures and Policies in accordance with ISO **** Quality System




Comply with HSE Procedures and Policies in accordance with ISO ***** Safety Management System and ISO ***** Environmental Management System
Successful applicant must have:
Trade Certificate - Mechanical Trade
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience with Boart Longyear or underground diamond drills is desirable, not essential.
Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
Current Forklift Ticket.
Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills.
Strong Organisational and Communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
High level of safety orientation.
