About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales team members to join Fins Fangs n Feathers Nowra on a casual basis.
This is an excellent prospect to work in a dynamic retail environment where your passion for animals and retail excellence will make a real difference.
Based in Nowra NSW, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional customer service and helping pet owners make informed purchasing decisions.

Key responsibilities
Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service to all store visitors, offering product recommendations and expert advice
Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
Maintaining store displays and ensuring products are well-stocked, organised and attractively presented
Answering customer enquiries about pets, products and animal care with confidence and enthusiasm
Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation and receiving new merchandise
Promoting store products and services to customers whilst understanding their specific pet care needs
Maintaining a clean,



safe and welcoming shopping environment for customers and staff
Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations and positive customer experiences
What we're looking for
Genuine passion for animals and enthusiasm for helping customers with their pet care needs
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner and strong communication abilities
Retail experience in a similar environment, or demonstrable evidence of strong customer-facing skills
Reliability and flexibility to work casual hours that may include weekends and public holidays
Basic numeracy skills and comfort using point-of-sale or similar retail technology systems
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team-oriented team
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle stock-related tasks
A willingness to learn about pet products and animal care practices
