The Event Crew is looking for an enthusiastic and motivatedEvent Assistantto join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role that supports all aspects of event planning and delivery, from office administration through to on-site event operations.
About the Role
This is a fixed term contract until May **** offering 16 hours+ per week, with additional work around events as required (including weekends).
As an Event Assistant, you'll work closely with our Event Managers to help plan, coordinate and deliver a variety of sporting events throughout the year.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with event planning and operations
Liaising with contractors, suppliers and event stakeholders
Preparing and submitting event approvals and permits with councils, venues and other authorities
Warehouse duties, including preparing and packing event equipment
Assisting with event set-up and pack-down (including physical tasks)
Equipment maintenance and stock control
Supporting event administration and documentation
Providing exceptional customer service to participants and stakeholders
Assisting with event-day operations to ensure a safe and successful event experience
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys variety, is proactive and thrives in a busy environment.
We're looking for someone who has:
A genuine interest in sport and event management
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong focus on customer experience and event delivery
A current driver's licence (preferred)
Previous event experience is desirable butnot essential.

Availability
This role requires flexibility, including:
Availability to work weekends during event delivery
Some early morning starts and occasional interstate travel
Physical fitness to assist with manual event setup and pack-down
