Company Description First Step Health Collective is a multidisciplinary patient-centered practice focused on rehabilitation, exercise, and strength and conditioning. Role Description Full time or part time options, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Strathalbyn, SA. The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal and other physical conditions, using evidence-based physiotherapy techniques and exercise prescription. Day-to-day tasks include conducting initial and follow-up consultations, developing individualized rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs, and monitoring client progress. The role involves educating clients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and safe return to work, sport, or daily activities. The Physiotherapist will also collaborate with other health professionals,
maintain accurate clinical documentation, and contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture.
QualificationsAHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Physiotherapist and a relevant tertiary degree in Physiotherapy.Strong skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based rehabilitation for musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.Experience or interest in exercise prescription, strength and conditioning, and functional training to support client performance and recovery.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain clinical concepts clearly, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Ability to manage a clinical caseload, maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, and use practice management or electronic health record systems.Commitment to person-centered care, qualified ethics, and ongoing learning, including participation in professional development and supervision.Desirable: Womens Health, Sports Physio or Neurological interest or experience in private practice, community or sports settings, and familiarity with NDIS, compensable, or return-to-work clients.
