From our manufacturing facility in Wangara, we supply commercial furniture solutions to retailers, fit-out companies and major sectors including government, education, healthcare, mining and corporate workplaces.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role responsible for the day-to-day accounts and financial administration of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash flow, taxation compliance and credit control.
You will work closely with Management and liaise with our external finance team to support the smooth and accurate operation of the company's financial functions.
You will also be supported by an Administration Assistant, who assists with the entry of supplier invoices and customer sales orders and invoices.
This position offers flexible part-time hours and may be ideally suited to someone seeking school hours while enjoying a rewarding role within a well-established and growing Australian manufacturer.
Your responsibility will include responsibilities will include:
Accounts Payable and supplier payments
Accounts Receivable and customer credit control
Weekly payroll processing
Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
BAS, payroll tax, superannuation and statutory compliance
Inventory and Work in Progress (WIP) accounting
Fixed asset management
Month-end reporting and financial administration




Liaising with our external finance team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or Accountant role
Strong experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
Sound understanding of Australian taxation requirements, including GST, BAS, Superannuation and Payroll Tax
Advanced MYOB experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently, anticipate business needs and take ownership of responsibilities
A professional and confidential approach when handling financial information

Hours
This is a part-time position of approximately25 hours per week, worked acrossMonday to Friday(approximately5 hours per day).
